Human Interest, 2015.

Human Interest explores the human as material artifact through investigations of the preserved remains of Northern European bog mummies, the immortal essences of Russian Cosmism, and the forensics of the contemporary data body. These human is conceived not as the familiar site of the individual-ego but rather as an instance within an ecosystem and manifestation of a particular bio-socio-technical archive. Constructed as a constellation of object, video, interface, and environment, Human Interest contemplates the ‘self’ as it is manufactured, ideologized, quantified, visualized, projected, and politicized.
